I knew that I was taking a chance when I left the Clerk's Office to go work for Glenn, and that was part of the reason I TOOK it... I felt like I needed to take a few more risks in my life.  Conquer some fears.  Y'know?

So, it ended up being a bit of an epic fail.  But like I said before... if you don't fall on your ass once in a while, you're not taking enough chances.  Pick yourself up, dust off your ass, and go forward again.

('course, if you're CONSTANTLY falling on your ass, you should probably re-examine your walking style a little bit.)

Oh God, I'm sorry! People suck. And the way they took you off your account without telling you sucks. But at least you're out of there, and you'll get a good recommendation, and thank goodness you're giving you severance. And I'm sorry about my email - I hadn't read your post prior to sending it!

You're fine! It'll give me something to focus on! =) Granted, like I said, as of Monday my full time job is finding a new job, but it'll still be good to have a project or two to take my mind off of not HAVING a job.

And yes, people suck. Particularly D felony defense and medical malpractice defense lawyers. If they count. ;)

Ok, I argue with Epic fail.

You took a new job, you got a pay increase, you got new skills for your resume, you got to see life on the other side of the system and learn that you don't like working for lawyers.

How is ANY of that fail?

You got FIRED? So? You hated the job, you were looking to replace it, this just lit a fire under ya and PAYS you to find something new for a week or so.

How is that fail?

And hey, next one will be better. And if not? The next one will. Rinse, lather, repeat!
