Apartment Life

 In the laundry room there is a sign posted on the wall, explaining that soon, we will need $1.75 in quarters instead of $1.25 to do the laundry.  Underneath the declaration, someone in my apartment hall has written, "Will they be a bigger and better washer and dryer?"

Someone else has responded, "Yeah, with dry clothes, the FIRST time???"

and someone ELSE has responded, "What are these dry clothes you speak of???"

I love my neighbors. ;)

That reminds me of a sticky note war that one of my LJ friends posted about, awhile back. Someone posted a note on the copier about being considerate and clearing your own paper jams... to which someone wrote a snarky remark on a sticky note... to which someone else responded with a sticky note... and soon the entire front of the copier was covered in sticky notes.

Okay I couldn't resist, bu laugh at the scene of a gazillion post-it notes...

but, please don't remind me of the issues of people posting notes on the wall and stuff... how am I going to see it? LOL!

I meant to say, don't remind me about apartment life, I am nervous thinking about it, as my turn to tackle that will soon come once I have established a permanent job suitable for me.

Oh don't worry... it's REALLY not that bad. ;) As long as you check out the neighborhood I mean. My neighbors are FANTASTIC. I've had a couple of apartments where they WEREN'T so fantastic, but I don't really have any horror stories. I can't complain. :)
