Had a wonderful time with Aaron and Elana in Minnesota over the weekend. We got out a little later than I'd hoped yesterday but that was alright. It would have been much MORE alright if it hadn't been for nasty nasty weatherses through Wisconsin and Illinois. Strangely enough it was pretty mild the entire time we spent in Minnesota.
btw, I heart Minnesota.
Dunno if it was just getting away from everything and everyone for a few days, if it was Aaron and Elana's energy, if it was teh nommy nommy turkey foodz, or if it was the state... my guess is all of the above, really, but I feel warm and fuzzy and happy inside despite feeling very, very sleepy. I think that Thanksgiving with Chris's family Thursday evening definitely helped (although we werez sad that there was a missing uncle. *sniffle* but we understood. ;) ). I got some pics that I really love of family members on Thursday afternoon, and tons and tons of Minnesota pics that I'll post later. I'z a happy 'lil freelance photographer.
And, did I mention, sleeeeepy?
I'm probably not as sleepy as Chris as he actually had to DRIVE the whole way (grr grumble grumble Avis. *sigh*) but he luckily gets to take a nap today and I get to sit at work and pound back energy drinks. They seem to be helping a bit but I'm still pretty loopy.
Thinking of going back to brunette this evening. Not sure if I'll be awake enough tho. Still trying to figure out how to get my housekey back from
friendstephen while expenending the least amount of energy possible. I may just go home and crash face first into bed and leave my vanity for tomorrow.
Oh, and Chris bought me burfday presents! We went to a used bookstore and found nice copies of two Anne Rice books that I wanted (rebuilding my collection. The one that died in a bonfire many moons ago. *sigh* silly child.) We also got some supplies to put together Christmas presents for his family. They'll be really modest, but hopefully they go over well.
K, well if I can think of other things to say about Thanksgiving when I'm more awake, I'll letcha know.
Love,
Crystal
